Yes! We are still alive!

Sorry we haven't posted in...a long time, but we have been super busy! I have applied to PA school after 7 years of trying to get to this point. I have been taking some prerequisites that I still have to have. We also sold our house and bought a new, but older one. (i.e. one that needs alot of work) We have been painting and cleaning out,etc. The girls are good (I'll post pics later)! Hannah has started dance and loves it! She doesn't do much, but loves getting dressed and being with her friends. We have pulled them out of daycare...FINALLY! A wonderful girl named LeeAnn is keeping them here at home and they love her. They get to sleep late and get ICEEs everyday. She spoils them, but they deserve it. Ava is getting so big. She is still not talking alot, but can make some awesome animal sounds. She is definitely establishing her place in the family as "the baby." She loves her sister and they play so well together.

I know I am rambling, but I really don't know where to start, because I haven't posted in so long--

Florida!!!!!!!!!

For the first time in six years, we have taken a vacation! Marcus and I are in Perdido Key, Florida--WITHOUT the girls! Ryan and Angie were so kind as to take them in for the weekend. It has been wonderful the past couple of days without any responsibility. Although, we miss them terribly! We will be returning home tomorrow, and returning to normal life. It is very strange how when you finally get time alone, you forget how to have fun, or what you used to do to before you had kids. Doing things like laying on the beach without having to take someone to the potty, having a conversation without screaming in the background, sleeping late (too bad we woke up at 8 every morning), both of you getting out of the car at the store, etc. I must say I miss my kids more than I miss that old life. I can't help it, I am a mommy!
